About Medical Director

Dr Nene Glad Okpara completed her undergraduate and Optometric degree from the Abia State University, Uturu. She did her externship at the Living Word Hospital, Aba, her internship and Youth Service at General Hospital, Lagos.
She also worked for top private eye clinics before Dothan Eye Centre. She had several opportunities to participate in community eye care missions, where she performed eye examinations and provided drugs and glasses to the under privileged.
Dr Okpara is experienced and an expert in performing comprehensive eye examinations using advanced computerized instruments to determine accurate eye glasses prescriptions. Through her intensive Optometric training, she learned to manage many ocular disorders such as strabismus, amblyopia, refraction issues and ocular disease. Dr Okpara still updates herself yearly through intensive and value adding conferences of International recognition. Dr Okpara is passionate about her career and love working with people to help optimize their vision with glasses and contact lenses.
